Top 10 selling two wheelers in India Feb 2026 sales report

If you ever stand at a busy traffic signal on the Ring Road here in Surat, you will immediately notice one thing. Almost everyone is riding either a Hero Splendor or a Honda Activa. Whether it is a diamond merchant or a textile worker, these two machines are the absolute lifelines of this city. So when the official February 2026 two wheeler sales report landed on my desk, I was not surprised at all. The entire country is buying exactly what I see on my city streets every single day.

The two wheeler market went absolutely crazy last month. The total sales for the top 10 models crossed 12,52,889 units. That is a massive 30.56 percent jump compared to February 2025. Let us break down where people are actually spending their hard earned money.

The Undisputed Kings Splendor and Activa

Just as I expected, the Hero Splendor completely crushed the market again. They sold 3,21,952 units in February alone. That is a 54.96 percent growth from last year. Just last week, two of my friends bought new Splendors to start their local delivery business because you simply cannot beat its mileage and low maintenance cost.

Right behind it is the Honda Activa with a solid 2,54,449 units sold. It grew by 46.23 percent. Whether you live in a metro city or a small town, the Activa remains the default family scooter.

The Reliable Commuters and Sporty Favorites

The Honda Shine took the third spot selling 1,71,360 units with a steady 10.87 percent growth. If we look at family scooters, the TVS Jupiter grabbed the fourth position with 1,27,089 units. I always recommend the Jupiter to people who need that extra boot space and a comfortable ride quality.

Coming in at number five is my personal favorite, the Bajaj Pulsar series. The Pulsar lineup sold 1,11,617 units. Whenever I head out for a long weekend ride towards Dumas beach, the punchy power delivery of the Pulsar always brings a smile to my face. It also saw a great 26.98 percent jump in sales.

The Premium and Rural Heroes

For budget daily commutes, the Hero HF Deluxe moved 71,717 units. Meanwhile, the Suzuki Access maintained its strong grip on the premium scooter segment with 70,137 units. I have always loved the smooth pickup on the Access.

Rounding out the list, the TVS Apache sold 45,166 units. Out in the rural markets, the heavy duty TVS XL moped saw a massive 34.32 percent increase to hit 45,095 units. And finally, the crowd favorite Royal Enfield Classic 350 maintained its steady growth by selling 34,307 bikes.

Looking at this data, it is crystal clear. Indian buyers still put their money on machines that handle bad traffic effortlessly, go easy on the wallet, and are simple to service.
